Job Overview/Summary:

The primary focus of this position is the support and maintenance of the Human Resource Management System (Workday) in addition to other systems supported by the HRIS team.

We're looking for a full-time Sr HRIS Analyst who supports and maintains the Human Resources Information System (Workday) in addition to the other online systems (e.g., Taleo, CSOD - ATS) in a global environment that support the HR Business and IT. The Analyst will work with Director, HR Systems and internal groups to improve processes and procedures for maintenance of HRIS systems. Such as internal functions: Core HR, Benefits, Compensation, Talent Acquisition, other HR functions, runs reports on employee information, and use RCA techniques to identify business problems and/or support business decisions.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Act as subject matter expert/super user for the HRIS system and serve as an escalation point for end-users who are experiencing difficulties in using the system for the following HR functional areas:

  • Core HR, Benefits, Talent Acquisition (required)

  • Absence Management, Integration, Security, Compensation (plus)

  • Take ownership for the management functional design documentation for HR functional areas that leverage Business Processes, Set-up data, Integrations between Workday, third party vendors and internal IRC applications

  • Gather requirements from HR and non-HR stakeholders

  • Mapping of data elements (as needed)

  • Liaise with project management from HR/IT/Finance

  • Test and document any modifications for the functional areas

  • Able to take ownership of end-to-end incident resolution process that involves multiple departments

  • Support Workday upgrade for HR functional area, you support to ensure integrations, business process, and configuration are tested thoroughly.

  • Collaborate with other HRIS & IT teams on production issues and initiatives.

  • For HR functional area you support to troubleshoot and problem-solve HRIS problems/issues, design, test and sign-off on all system upgrades, conversions and other developmental activities to increase use and improve workflow efficiency

  • Recommend modifications when required/requested.

  • Produce canned and customized reports from Workday report requests

Key Working Relationships:

Position Reports to: Director, HR Systems Position directly supervises: N/A

Indirect Reporting: Other Internal and/or external contacts: describe the nature of departments or groups the position influences or requires support from to accomplish objectives.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent with at least 3+ years of professional work experience managing data sharing between enterprise software applications.
  • 5+ years previous experience maintaining data in an HRIS system
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail, excellent time management and organizational skills, project management ability, and the ability to prioritize work
  • Action oriented, hands-on, able to work independently and with a sense of urgency; possesses ability to juggle multiple deadlines and initiatives
  • Good understanding of HR practices
  • Excellent interpersonal skills; ability to effectively liaise with colleagues on all levels in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment
  • Technical aptitude with strong statistical, analytical and problem-solving skills and demonstrated ability to analyze data and make appropriate recommendations
  • Intermediate to advance understanding of databases structure
  • Big picture and forward thinker with ability to develop recommendations for improving and streamlining existing processes
  • Strong follow-through skills and the ability to be the driving force behind the completion of multiple HR projects
  • Highest level of professionalism and communication skills with the ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Strong proficiency with MS Office, Expert in MS Excel, Visio & MS Project(Plus)
  • Top-notch writing and presentation skills

PLUS

  • Experience with Workday and/or other global Enterprise HR system (PeopleSoft, SAP)
  • Experience with Workday Integrations
  • Experience working with large datasets, deep understanding of data relationships, data cleansing practices, and CSV and XML data formats.
  • Proficiency with SQL queries

Working Environment: Standard Office work environment
