The IRC's Marketing Department maximizes revenue from individuals who have demonstrated an interest in supporting our mission. Our focus is to engage, cultivate, retain and upgrade individuals whose highest contribution is under $10,000 in order to build a high-value, solid base of support. Whether they make donations, subscribe to our email list, sign a petition or join our community through any other marketing activity, our aim is to give all our supporters a unique, thoughtful and meaningful experience with the IRC so that they stay with us for the long term.
The Associate Director, Marketing Campaigns position is an exceptional opportunity for an individual with expertise in managing multi-channel fundraising campaigns and a passion for helping people in desperate need. Reporting to the Senior Director, Direct Marketing USA, s/he will work closely with colleagues in digital advertising, email marketing and direct response marketing to ensure the successful launch, completion and analysis of U.S. marketing campaigns. S/he will develop campaign plans and timelines, measure progress, compile and report results, and act as an ambassador for Marketing at all inter-departmental campaign meetings.
Major Responsibilities:
Create campaign briefs with all key elements including financial and other goals, Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), targeted audiences, required assets, deadlines, and key stakeholders. Develop the planning schedule and manage the timeline for developing strategy and implementing campaigns. Work with Creative and Brand on requesting all necessary assets for each campaign. Ensure messaging is consistent across all channels. Facilitate collaboration among the Marketing units and manage testing strategies cross-channel. Oversee the tracking of all revenue and expenses against budgets for each overall campaign. Alert supervisor when potential problems or issues arise. Compile campaign results and generate weekly reports measuring overall effectiveness in achieving KPIs. Work with Marketing Analytics to continually monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of all campaign initiatives aggregated by audiences/channels. Manage compliance reporting for Finance. Create end-of-campaign reports summarizing key findings to inform future campaigns. Support other marketing and fundraising initiatives/projects as assigned.

Impact of Work: Ensures all deadlines are met to keep entire team on track for raising unrestricted and restricted revenue goals through mass market channels, and helps IRC expand its global base of high value mass-market supporters.
Job Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's Degree
Work: 8-10 years' project management experience with some analytics experience, preferably in a non-profit environment.
Demonstrated Skills and Competencies :
Experience with project management applications. Very s trong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively in a cross-channel environment. Demonstrated ability to project manage complex campaigns and to coordinate with several staff members on achieving department's overall goals. Database experience a must with Salesforce strongly preferred. Desire to create a positive, fun and supportive environment.
