The mission of the Talent Management team is to take the IRC’s people to the next level. The team is responsible for improving the productivity of IRC staff by providing tools, processes, and guidance for effective performance management, onboarding and orientation, staff and leadership development, and quality individual and team learning.
The Talent Management Specialist will manage and support Talent Management programs globally. S/he is a key member of the team, with direct impact on the IRC’s ability to proactively support its employees around the world. S/he will also liaise with Headquarters, International field staff and third parties as needed.
Major Responsibilities:
Talent Management program support
- Support Talent Management programs, such as Leadership Development and Performance Management to plan, manage, track, monitor, report and improve programs
- Facilitate Talent Management meetings, webinars and orientations in related program areas for local and global audiences
- Troubleshoot program issues as they arise, including HRIS tickets, logistical challenges, and program related questions
Data Analytics and Reporting
- Analyze Talent Management data to identify trends and report gaps
- Respond to data requests from others across the organization
- Simplify and automate current reporting and data collection processes
- Synthesize and use data to create visual reports, dashboards and infographics
Project and Knowledge Management
- Review, compile, and organize information for various Talent Management initiatives, such as the review of data, records, and other project documents
- Balance deadlines and track projects over time so they remain on schedule and stakeholders have the information they need
- Contribute to the overall Talent Management strategy and initiatives; identify what is working, where there is room for improvement and how we can use data to tell a story
Communications
- Manage project specific Talent Management correspondence, including emails, memos and business documents
- Draft internal and external communications, and create PowerPoint and other informational presentations
- Maintain consistency of messaging across all channels of communication, including our intranet
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 3-5 years Talent Management experience, preferably in a global non-profit organization
- Proficiency in MS Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and email/internet
- Advanced MS Excel
- Comfort using advanced functions in surveying tools like SurveyMonkey
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects in a dynamic environment
- A high degree of professionalism and strong work ethic coupled with a sense of responsibility and integrity
- Excellent interpersonal skills, dependability and the ability to communicate with all levels in and outside of the organization
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Knowledge of HTML or making basic web pages a plus
- Knowledge of PowerBI
- Knowledge of Workday a plus
- French, Arabic and/or Spanish a plus
