Nigeria: Seeking Expressions of Interest from Nigeria Data Collection Organizations

International Business & Technical Consultants, Inc. (IBTCI), a US based international development consulting company established in 1987, has worked in over eighty-five countries and has implemented over one hundred and fifty projects. IBTCI has served governments, private sector companies and several donor agencies in several practice areas and is a leader in providing Monitoring & Evaluation, services in non-permissive environments.

IBTCI is seeking a Nigerian organization with capabilities to conduct field monitoring of emergency programs in the states of Borno, Gombe, Yobe and Adamawa in northeastern Nigeria.

This is for a program to conduct for at least one year independent monitoring, observation and verification of emergency food aid programs during 2016-2017.

The organization will be responsible for conducting the following activities:

  • Regular site visits to a range of programs conducted by NGOs and UN agencies in northeastern Nigeria

  • Collect data about the program activities, progress, outputs and community targeting of specified humanitarian programs, on an ongoing basis, with reporting in English.

Requirements and selection criteria:

1) The organization must demonstrate extensive relevant technical experience in Nigeria, especially in the Northeast.

2) The organization must demonstrate strong experience and capacity to travel and conduct extensive monitoring of programs in the Northeast.
