Organization: International Rescue Committee
Country: Jordan
Closing date: 31 Aug 2016

Job Overview/Summary: IRC is recruiting a short-term Consultant to work within its cross-border team, based in Amman. The primary responsibility of the Consultant is to prepare a package of remote training materials for case management. The training package will be based on existing training materials (such as the Inter-Agency Emergency Standard Operating Procedures for Prevention of and Response to Gender-Based Violence and Child Protection in Jordan). Therefore, although there is no need to design the training materials from scratch, the focus of the consultancy is to convert traditional workshop training materials into remote training materials that can be delivered via video or other online tools. The final training package is expected to include a training manual (in English and Arabic), training videos in Arabic, and interactive tools (in English and Arabic) to monitor and assess the progress of participants as they undertake the case management training. The training materials will be used to trained IRC’s Syrian partner staff and protection assessors remotely, by IRC staff in Amman.

Fluency in Arabic is a strong advantage for this role. However, translation support may be made available.
